Preference #19: You both go on a trip.

  • Two-Bit: Now, let's be real here. Where else would Keith "Two-Bit" Mathews take you? You guessed it; Disneyland. You were happy to get the chance go on all of the rides, while he was nearly peeing his pants of excitement because he would get the chance to meet the one mouse that started it all.
  • Dallas: He took you to his home state, the famous New York. He may have lived there, but he apparently never lived close to Times Square. So, you two took the liberty in going on a little road trip all the way there. You both looked in the different stores and just took in the urban view of it all, something you'd rarely see in Tulsa.
  • Sodapop: You both went to Hollywood! With his good looks and your fashion sense, you both fit in just perfectly during your time there. California didn't have "Socs" or "greasers", they had people who knew how to entertain, and you saw a lot of them on every street.
  • Steve: He took you to New Jersey. With his cockiness and temper, it was as if he was a New Jersey native. You both went to the boardwalk and local fairs, looking for a way to make time pass.
  • Johnny: You both went to North Carolina. The scenery was absolutely amazing! The mountains were towering over you, causing your figures to both be extremely small. Once you both decided to hike up the mountains, you looked out and it was as if the world was endless.
  • Ponyboy: You two, of course because of your young age, were only able to go on a school field trip that was just considered a "real trip" because of where you were going. You two went to Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and you both were so interested by the massive rockets hanging inside the buildings and those outside for display.
  • Darry: You both decided to go to New Orleans. The music sounding out in the air was spectacular, and you two danced the nights away. The highlight of the evening was when the Sun was just hiding behind the buildings, soon passing the horizon.

Preference #18: How they celebrate your birthday.

  • *A/N*: I'm sorry that this was a little late! This is for the anon who's birthday was yesterday, I believe. <3 xo - Sophie
  • Dally: He made sure that there were no other parties going on at Buck's, so he threw a huge party with the help of the rest of the gang, himself, Buck, Tim Shepard's gang, a few greaser girlfriends, and your good friends from school. Of course, he didn't invite your parents, because he knew how much they disliked him.
  • Sodapop: Sodapop was famous for his wonderful cooking, but could he live up to the test of cooking a dinner for you both? That's what he decided to find out as he cooked up some mashed potatoes and fried chicken. and he somehow didn't set the kitchen on fire!
  • Darry: He had set up two small parties for you, one with the whole gang and one with just you both and his brothers. It was real sweet, he brought out a large, freshly baked chocolate cake from the fridge, and you all devoured it in seconds. Darry even pushed some cake into your face, leaving a mess in the house and starting an all-out food fight.
  • Steve: He took you out to the Nightly Double so you two can see the new Disney movie that you were dying to see, 101 Dalmatians. He knew how you absolutely loved the whimsy of Disney films, and he couldn't help but chuckle once in a while because of how the movie interested you.
  • Ponyboy: You ended up being sick on your birthday, so Ponyboy visited you instead and bought you a copy of a new book you wanted. You were a little too sick to even hold the book right, so Ponyboy read to you, causing you to fall asleep instantly.
  • Two-Bit: He woke you up on an early Saturday morning to get your birthday started off just right, and that was by watching Mickey Mouse. Then, you both ended up just watching more television and watching even more cartoons. The day finally ended with some cuddling and chocolate cake, even a drink or two.
  • Johnny: You claimed to know how much he cared for you and loved you, but he would always prove you wrong by showing you how much he really did do all of those things. Of course, you knew that he was a little tight on money, but he surprised you by buying you a beautiful diamond necklace which you now wore all the time.

Preference #17: Going shopping (Part 1).

  • Dally: "Would you try this on, at least?" He groaned, and you didn't even bother to look at him. Throughout your whole entire time at the mall, he's been asking you to try on really revealing stuff, but you would decline instantly. "No, Dal. Stop it." You sighed, trying to look for something decent. "But you didn't even look at it!" He whined, stomping his foot and acting like a child. You just shook your head and looked up at what was in his hand; you instantly gasped. It was a beautiful red dress, short in the front but longer in the back, and strapless. "You see? Don't I have good taste?" He grinned at you, but you didn't listen. You snatched the dress from his hands and raced to the dressing room, closing the door quickly because you knew that Dally was on your tail, trying to sneak into the room with you.
  • Sodapop: "Y/N, look at this!" You heard Sodapop breath as you were looking around in the jewelry store. He insisted on buying you something for your birthday, but you didn't want him spending so much money on you. You walked over to see that he was pointing at a gorgeous sterling silver necklace with a heart pendant. The pendant had your birthstone in the middle of it, and you instantly fell in love. "Oh, Soda, it's beautiful." You whispered to him, and he just smiled. "You want it?" "No, babe, I can't let you spend so much on me." "But, you're my girl! I have to!" "No, you do-" "Sir, I'll be purchasing this!" He said, getting the attention of the clerk.
  • Johnny: "Y/N, look at that tuff jacket! Man, I don't think I got any money left. I spent it on a new blade." Johnny pointed at the jacket in the window. You just stared at him. "Y'know, if you want it, I can buy it for you." You offered, shrugging. He just looked at you, totally shocked. "No, princess, I can't -" "It's fine, Johnny. My folks just gave me my allowance yesterday, and I already got everythin' I need. You can pay me back anytime." You said, dragging him into the store and ignoring his protests. You made him try on the jacket; it was a perfect fit. Not to expensive, either. You both walked out with smiles, a new jacket, and change in your pocket.
  • Ponyboy: "What about this? It seems pretty interesting." You guessed as you looked through endless shelves of books, pointing a thick book out. "Y/N, I already read that book a few years ago." He sighed, bringing your hand away from all the books, because you were horrible at choosing. "Well, how about you tell me what book you want. I need to get you a birthday present, anyway." You huffed. He just chuckled. "You know what I want, but don't need?" Okay, fine; I want a new book. But I got something even better." He said, wrapping his arms around you. "What?" You smiled, knowing where this was going. "I got a girl who cares." He said, kissing your forehead.

Preference #16: They run into your ex-boyfriend.

  • Johnny: You were busy, so Johnny decided to hang out with Ponyboy. They were walking around, but Johnny stopped in his tracks when he saw your ex-boyfriend and his friends on the next block. Your ex was a greaser like Johnny, but Johnny was afraid of him, because he was muscular, strong, and a jerk. Johnny never really understood why you chose him over your ex, but he didn't complain.
  • Dally: It was during a rumble, greasers versus Socs. Everybody was taking part in the face-off; it was like a final showdown that you would see in an action movie. Dally was there, and so was your idiot ex; your ex-boyfriend was a Soc. You broke up with him because he cheated on you, and Dally was there for you during the break-up. Dally walked up to him and glared. "You the guy who cheated on Y/N?" He asked in his heavy accent. "Yeah, what's it to you? Never did like 'er, anyway, only 'er bod-." Your ex replied, but never finished talking. Dally socked him instantly, and an all-out war started.
  • Sodapop: "And then the pancakes burned! I made green pancakes for nothin'! I spent so much ti- Y/N? You there?" He joked, waving his hand in front of your face. But you just sat there, not paying attention to Sodapop, at The Dingo while staring at who was just outside the door. "Oh, God, no." You groaned as you hid your face in your hands, sinking into your seat. "What's wrong? Is it so-" Sodapop said, turning around to see what you were looking at, until you interrupted him. "No! Stop looking! It's my ex, he's here!" You hissed, pulling him back down. "Wow, he has a weird nose. What were you doin' with that guy?!" He asked you, gaping. "There's a reason why he's my ex, Soda." You reminded him, taking a sip out of your chocolate shake.
  • Steve: You made Steve go with you to the hospital because he broke his hand from punching some guy in the face. "I can't believe you punched someone, you're the one who usually gets punched!" You laughed when he snapped his head up to look at you. "Hey! That ain't funny!" He pouted. "It is to me." You said, kissing his cheek, then walking through the hospital entrance. "Hey, what's the big idea, pal?! Wasn't a punch enough?" You heard Steve yell as you were talking to the receptionist. "Well, I have a black eye, thanks to you!" You heard an all-too-familiar voice yell back. It was your ex-boyfriend. "Stevie, you punched him?! That's my ex-boyfriend! Good job!" You yelled, glaring at your ex-boyfriend who was gaping at you. Steve just smiled widely, because he knew that he sure did a good job.
  • Darry: You two were grocery-shopping, so you both split up and went to different isles. You reached the isle where the cake mix would be, and you noticed that there was only one more box left of vanilla cake mix, your favorite. You reached for it, but you froze when you heard someone's footsteps. "Is that the same thing you ate when I 'broke your heart'?" You heard the annoying voice of your ex. You cringed and turned around. "When 'you' broke my heart? Honey, I dumped you. Havin' fun with that broad?" You scoffed, taking your attention away from him. "No. I dumped 'er; I'm actually lookin' for someone else." He whispered, getting close to you. "Step away from her before I punch your face in." You heard Darry snarl. Your ex's eyes went wide when he saw Darry, and he was gone in a few seconds. "Thanks, Superman." You breathed. "You're welcome, darlin'. But, why did you go for the losers?" Darry asked, dumbfounded while putting his favorite soda into the cart.
  • Ponyboy: He was sitting in the back of the room in Science class, and you were sitting in the front. Sadly, you two weren't partners, so you both weren't able to talk to each other in class. Even worse, your ex-boyfriend sat at the table in front of Ponyboy, but the actual seat next in front of Pony was empty. "Y/N, I'm going to ask you to move seats today. Please move to the seat in front of Ponyboy." Your teacher drawled, and you felt yourself go pale. Your teacher had to be joking. You grabbed your things and moved to where your teacher told you to sit. In reality, there was no bad blood between you and your ex; you both mutually ended things. You just felt a little awkward. Your ex just smiled at you, and you managed to smile back, but Pony noticed your discomfort and kept a close eye on you both. Nobody was allowed to fool around with you, bad blood or not; you were Pony's girl, no one else's.
  • Two-Bit: You saw your ex drinking a beer, talking to some random kids. "Uh, Two, I need to tell you somethin'." You squeaked, nervously playing with the hem of your skirt. "What is it, sweetie?" He asked, walking with you on the way to a party. "Okay, my ex is here at this party, so stay away from him! I don't want drama, this party can't be ruined by tension. Oh no, he's there!" You rushed, not pausing for any breaths. He just stared at you. "Okay." He shrugged, and you were left in shock. You didn't ask anymore questions, and time flew by. You both decided to have a beer, and he went to the bar to get the bottles. You thought he'd be quick, but it took forever. He finally came, a smile on his face, and handed you the beer. "What was the hold-up?" You casually asked. "Oh, nothin'. I was gettin' a few beers and a guy complimented my jacket. He's sittin' righ' over there!" Two-Bit pointed to the guy, and you nearly spit out your beer. It was your ex, waving at you with a big grin.

Preference #15: You're scared (Part 1).

  • Sodapop: You were whimpering nonstop during the night, but you were trying your best to stay quiet because your boyfriend was sleeping. "Baby, I know you're trying to hide something. What's wrong?" He mumbled in his morning voice, but it was the middle of the night. "I'm afraid of the dark." You whispered, looking at him with wide eyes. He just chuckled and nuzzled his head into your neck, interlocking his fingers with yours. "Nothin' will happen, I promise." He yawned, and his heartbeat soon lulled you to sleep.
  • Two-Bit: "Hey, Two, have you seen my - what the, ow!" You ended up screaming as you fell flat on your face. "Y/N? Darlin'?! Are you okay?" He yelled from what you now think is the living room. "Yeah, I'm fine. I think the lights went out; that thunderstorm sure is scary." You chuckled nervously. "Oh, is little Y/N afraid of a little darkness?" You could see the grin growing on his face. "No, just thunderstorms." You whispered as you saw a lightning bolt out the window which lit up the room and your bodies, followed by a loud clap of thunder. You ran to your boyfriend, to be held by his strong arms; he wouldn't let anything happen to you anytime soon.
  • Dally: "Doll, tell me what's buggin' you." Dally whispered, kissing your forehead. "Nothin', everything's okay, alrigh'?" You shrugged, slipping on your heels. He didn't believe you though, because he still asked you questions; well, it's more like he demanded you. "Tell me!" He whined, not breaking eye contact. "It's just that, I'm a little scared about this party. I mean, nobody there likes me. They never have." You looked down and shuffled your feet. "You think I care if they like you or not? You're my girl, and I wouldn't give a hang about them. I'll take care of it, 'kay?" "Love you." "Love you more." And at that, you both were out of the house.

Preference #14: Your favorite thing to do during the winter.

  • Dally: Every year, you love to go ice skating with your closest friends. So, you decided to invite Dally this time. He never really did ice skate before, so he surprisingly decided to go with you. You didn't hesitate to laugh every time he fell on his butt or flat on his face, though.
  • Two-Bit: You two love to cuddle under the covers and watch Mickey Mouse while eating chocolate cake, which Two-Bit may or may not have smuggled from the Curtis house. He knows how you don't really like him drinking around you, so he doesn't have a beer with him in sight.
  • Sodapop: Sodapop loves to wake you up early so you two can go out into the snow. You both clothe yourselves in heavy coats, boots, thickest pair of pants, turtleneck sweaters, and then you instantly plop down into the snow, soon making snow angels and snowmen. You both don't hesitate to throw some snowballs at each other, either.
  • Johnny: You just go out onto the porch and look at the snowflakes fall ever so gently. Johnny loved how the snowflakes would fall onto your hair and eyelashes. He loved how beautiful you looked, and he'd admire you until you dragged him outside to join you.
  • Ponyboy: Ponyboy didn't care if there was a huge snowfall outside. He would still take you to go out to the Nightly Double and watch a good movie. You loved it, because nobody else in Tulsa would dare to go outside in a huge snowstorm like those you two have been in.
  • Darry: You both would go sledding on the makeshift hill you two formed out of snow. Then, he brought Sodapop and Ponyboy out. The four of you split into two teams; the ultimate snowball fight would begin. Sodapop was on your team, and Pony was on Darry's. You and Sodapop would beat them every time, but Darry would claim that he let you win.
  • Steve: Steve would take you on a small joyride throughout Tulsa in one of the cars he was working on. He would open the windows, so the town could hear your screams and the snow falling would fill into the car. You both loved it, because you would feel so carefree together.

Preference #13: You're on your period.

  • Ponyboy: "You need what?!" He asked you for the tenth time, looking as if he had just seen someone throw up. You just sighed and shook your head, feeling really embarrassed. "Pony! I really need you to go to the drug store and buy me some pa-" "I heard you the first time! Jeez, I really don't understand girls." He mumbled, putting down his new book and leaving the house.
  • Dally: "I ain't doin' that!" He yelled, getting grossed out. "Dally, I am stuck in the bathroom and my underwear looks like the flag of Japan! Get me what I need or else you won't be getting any for a whole three months!" You hissed, hiding behind the bathroom door, but leaving enough space for you to reach your hand out and grab him by the collar for effect. That was enough to send him sprinting, because only you had the ability to scare him senseless.
  • Sodapop: You had bad cramps, but you were trying to hide the pain. That was until your boyfriend came to visit. You were in bed and watching cartoons, when the door bust open all of a sudden and Sodapop plopped onto your bed, his arm reached out to end up lazily on your waist, but instead it hit the source of your cramps. "Ow!" You groaned in pain. "Baby, what happened?! I hurt you?!" He said, freaking out already. You just looked at him. Then, his face had a look of realization. "Oh." He whispered, leaving of your bed and heading downstairs. He returned with ice cream, pain killers, and water. You had an awesome boyfriend.
  • Steve: Your boyfriend was fighting in a rumble right now, and you were home alone. You had everything you needed; pills, water, and your favorite snacks. Finally, Steve came back home with a black eye and a broken nose. "I hate gettin' broken noses, even if they make me look real tuff. You bleed so much 'cause of 'em, Jesus Christ." He groaned. You just stared at him with a blank face. "Oh, you're complainin' 'bout broken noses? You bleed a lot? Bleedin' must feel awful. Bleeding' is a horrible thing." You said, glaring at him. Right then and there, he got the message that he needed to shut up for a while.
  • Two-Bit: "No, Two, please don't- you're makin' me laugh! Stop!" You giggled, before trying to slap his arm away. You were torn between being angry at him or being kind to him. Two-Bit was tickling you, and he knew very well that Mother Nature left you a little gift. "Oh, c'mon, Y/N. Just have a little fun!" He laughed, his hands still trying to find your weak spot. "No, Keith! No!" You groaned, running to the bathroom. He was just laughing with tears in his eyes, he would have so much fun making you mad.
  • Johnny: "What?" He was looking at you with wide eyes. "I-is it contagious?" He asked you, debating on whether he should take steps closer to you or farther from you. You just giggled. "No, Johnnycake, it isn't. Why would it be?" "Well, how long d'you get it for?" He asked, still a little hesitant. "A week." You responded, getting a handful of chips. "How far are you?" "One day." You mumbled in confusion, and he instantly headed for the door. "You know I love you, darlin', but I ain't too good with girl stuff. See you in six days, princess!" He said, closing the door.
  • Darry: "Jesus Christ, Y/N, what's got you in such a bad mood?!" He asked, looking up at you in shock. You snapped at him for no reason, and you instantly felt bad for it. "I'm sorry, Dar." You whispered, looking down and shifting on your feet. "Tell me what's wrong, darlin'." He said, standing up to hug you. "I can't." You said. "Why not?" "I just can't." "I don't believe you." He said, looking into your eyes. "Tell me." He whined, making you shake your head. "It's a little personal, 'kay?" "Oh." He said, not asking anything else. He just lifted you up into his arms, and brought you to your room. He placed you gently in the bed, and got into bed next to you, kissing your cheek.

Preference #12: You're pregnant.

  • *A/N*: Imagine for these preferences that you and the boys are older, with a lot more responsibility. For example, don't think that Ponyboy's going to be a dad at fourteen years old! xo - Sophie
  • Sodapop: "You're what?!" Sodapop yelled, with the biggest smile on his face. He was so excited, he nearly fell off of the seat from bouncing so much. "I'm pregnant, Soda. We're goin' to be parents!" You squealed as Sodapop swept you off of your feet and spun you.
  • Steve: "Huh?" He leaned over the counter in the DX, staring at you as if you were some sort of professor trying to explain to him the not-so-basic basics of physics. "Steve, we're goin' to be parents. I know this isn't the best place or time to tell you, but I just had to!" You repeated for the fifth time in the past minute. "You hear that, Sodapop?! I'm goin' to be a dad!" Steve yelled, jumping over the counter to kiss you.
  • Two-Bit: "We're goin' to be parents?!" Two-Bit yelled. "Yes!" You giggled. "Oh my Lord, I need to tell my family! I'm tellin' you, Y/N, our kid is goin' to watch Mickey and love chocolate cake like me! I'm not goin' to introduce him to beer just yet, I would be a bad daddy. And for his first birthday, we're goin' to Disneyland!" He smiled. "Wait, what makes you think that the baby is goin' to be a boy?!" You gaped at him. "The genes are strong with this one." He smirked, pointing to himself.
  • Dally: "You don't hate kids now, do you?" You smirked at him as he stared back at you with a grin going ear-to-ear. "So, you mean to tell me, that there's a kid growin' inside of you?" Dally said, trying to figure this all out, even though he already knew where this was heading. "Yup." You smiled. "Then I did real good, don't you think?" He winked at you, not giving you a chance to respond to his claims.
  • Darry: "Darlin', that's wonderful!" Darry screamed, wrapping his arms around you. "You think so? I thought you'd be s-" "Y/N, this doesn't affect us or anything. I know we got little time on our hands, but we have my brothers and the rest of the gang to help us out. It'll work out just fine." He interrupted, placing a gentle kiss on your lips.
  • Ponyboy: "P-pregnant?" Ponyboy stuttered. "Yeah, Pony. I'm pregnant." You smiled at him, tears in your eyes. You noticed tears forming in his eyes, and that's when you knew that this would all be alright. "We're goin' to have a baby!" He screamed, jumping up and running to hug you.
  • Johnny: "Princess, you're pregnant?!" He smiled. His face looked like it belonged to a puppy who was just shown the biggest bone to chew on. "Yes!" You giggled at him, he was just too cute. "I promise, I'm goin' to give this baby the life I never had; the life I wish I had, that's for sure." He said, giving you a big kiss on the cheek.

Preference #11: First kiss.

Dally: Earlier that day, you fought with Dally; your best friend. You were mad because he was treating you like you weren’t important to him. He’s been spending a lot more time with Sylvia lately, to your dismay. So, you went to one of Buck’s parties to get your mind off of things. You knew Dally would be there, but you didn’t really care. You wanted to meet someone who truly wanted to spend time with you. Everything changed when this cute guy started to talk to you, and you were getting interested more and more with every word he said, but then, Dally interrupted and took care of business by apologizing like never before.image

Johnny: "Johnny! Lord, what happened?!“ You gasped, putting the newspaper down as he barged in. He had cuts on his face, and bruises were forming on his arms and neck. "Got jumped.” He gritted his teeth, you could tell that he was trying not to cry. “Oh, darling, let’s get you all cleaned up.” You kissed his cheek, leading him to the kitchen, the only good source of light in your house. You were close with the gang; you were like a motherly figure to them, even Darry. After a rumble, the gang would go to your house because they knew that you would take care of them in a heartbeat. You cleaned the cuts on Johnny’s face, and he couldn’t help but stare at you like you were some sort of angel. “Y/N? W-will you go out with me?” He blurted out. You were caught off guard, but extremely happy. So, you kissed him. “Well, I really hope that answers your question, Johnnycake.” You smiled.image

Two-Bit: "Awh, come on, Two-Bit!“ You whined as he walked away from your porch. "I have to get back home or I’m dead!” He laughed as he heard you run after him. “Fine, I’ll just tell the gang about the first time that Keith Mathews doesn’t want to watch Mickey Mouse and eat chocolate cake at his favorite girl’s house!” You smirked as he stopped in his tracks. “You wouldn’t! That can ruin my whole reputation!” He yelled, wide-eyed. “What reputation?!” You giggled as you ran inside the house, not long until you felt a pair of arms turn you around only to be met by Two-Bit’s lips on yours.image

Sodapop: "Well, hello there, miss Y/N.“ Sodapop smiled at you as you walked in through the front door of the Curtis house. "Hi! How come the rest of the gang isn’t here?” You wondered out loud as you looked around the house. You could tell Two-Bit was here though, because you saw an empty beer bottle on the floor and chocolate cake crumbs all over. “There is some left over cake, if you’re wonderin’. I didn’t let Two-Bit eat it all up!” Soda smiled at you, grabbing your hand and leading you over to the kitchen. You both were walking, but somehow ended up on the floor. You both fell because of the beer bottle that Two-Bit oh-so-graciously left behind. You were on your back on the floor, and Soda landed on top of you. His arms were what kept him leveled, and he looked down at you with wide eyes. You probably looked like a deer caught in headlights yourself. You both didn’t say anything though, you just leaned in and let fate do what it does best. image

Darry: "Seriously, Y/N?! You know I got a lot on my plate, can’t you just give me a break for once?“ Darry sighed, running a hand over his face in order to calm down. "That’s the thing, Darry! You get too many breaks when it comes to me! That’s the same excuse you always use. ‘You know I got a lot on my plate,’? No, not really! You know you have me to help out. You know I would help out your brothers in a heartbeat. You know I would help you out with your jobs. Why won’t you let me help you for once? I’m not here for nothin’, you know!” You cried, but Darry didn’t say anything, he just picked you up and kissed you.image

Steve: You visited him at the DX, you knew he was working late and this would be the only chance you would get to see him that day. “Hey, babe!” He smiled at you as you walked through the door. “Hey, Stevie!” You smiled back at him. You were the only one who was allowed to call him Stevie, he would get really annoyed if anybody else called him that. “So, which car are you working on?” You asked him, looking around the shop. “Well, this car has a flat tire, and that other car looks like the doors are about to fall off any second.” He smirked, pointing out the car with the bad doors. But, you didn’t see any other car. “Stevie, what ca-” You were cut off by Steve’s lips against yours. You felt Steve smile throughout the kiss, soon leading you to do the same, but you didn’t complain at all.image

Ponyboy: "I had a lot of fun tonight! Thanks for taking me to the movies, Ponyboy.“ You smiled up at him. He smiled back down at you, and just modestly shrugged. "It’s alright, Y/N. I had a lot of fun, too. I’m glad you had fun tonight.” He put his arm around your shoulders, but he did it hesitantly. You mentally scolded him. You both went on many dates before, so you didn’t understand why he was being so nervous all the time. You were okay with it if he wanted to take things slow, but he should at least tell you that. The only thing was that he didn’t want to take things too slow. You both wanted that, so you had the nerve to take care of it.image
