Sodapop:
"Why'd we have to come here? You know I have to study!" You scolded your older sister as she dragged you to the entrance. "Y/N, you need to have some fun!" She smiled at you as you took in the view; lights, laughter, and cute boys. You and your sister went straight to one of the concession stands. You got a Coke, and your sister bought ice cream. "Oh my, Y/N! I think Sodapop Curtis is starin' at you!" Your sister whispered to you, almost dropping the cone. You nearly choked on your drink; your sister had to be lying! "You're kidding me." You hissed. Not only was he the cutest boy ever, but he was your crush. "Turn around and you'll see that I'm not!" She giggled. You turned only to find Sodapop staring at you, a smile growing on his face as your eyes met. You blushed, and turned back to your sister. "What do I do? Do I go talk to him o-" "Don't worry 'bout it." Your sister interrupted you, winking then running off. "Where are you goi-" "Hey, Y/N!" You heard a voice call. You turned to see Soda, jogging towards you. "Oh, hey Soda! What's up?" You asked him. "Nothin' much. Hey, I was wonderin', do you want to go out this Saturday? I'm off of work so I was just hopin' th-" "Well, why don't we go out now?" You asked. "Really?" "Yes! Ferris wheel?" You giggled, motioning to the ride. "Let's go!" He smiled, holding your hand. Let's just say that you proudly failed your test the next day.

Darry:
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and finally, Darry was off from work! You both haven't been able to go out together recently because of your extremely packed schedules. "This is goin' to be so much fun!" You squealed, jumping up and down in your seat as Darry drove you both to the carnival. "Well, I just know that you're goin' to beat me in the strength test." He joked. You jokingly glared at him. "Oh, why yes I am!" You giggled, poking his shoulder. Darry found a parking space, and you both raced to the entrance to buy tickets. You got your ticket, and ran to the strength test. It was the simple thing that everybody knew about; it was that tall structure with the bell at the top, the bell that you were supposed to hit with the hammer. "Alright, move over, Darry. You may be called 'Superman', but let Wonder Woman show you how it's done." You giggled and winked at him, while Darry laughed. You got a grip on the hammer, and hit it down, causing the little thing that hits the bell to only go halfway up. You frowned, and handed the hammer over to Darry. "This is fixed." You mumbled as Darry's turn caused him to hit the bell, but with his strength, the bell almost flew off of the top. "Show-off." You pouted. "Only for you." He smiled, kissing your cheek.

Two-Bit:
"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" You heard as somebody jumped up and down on your bed, nearly causing you to fall. You unwillingly opened your eyes to see your boyfriend looking at you with a goofy grin. "We're goin' on a date. You'll definitely need to be dressed for this one." Two-Bit winked at you, not letting you protest as he ran out of your room. You blushed at his remark, and got out of bed to get yourself ready. After a few quick minutes, you joined Two-Bit and he led you to where you two would have your date. "Ta-da!" He motioned to the carnival, and your smile couldn't have gotten any bigger. He knew you were so happy, so he grabbed your hand and you both ran in. "Hey, Y/N, let's go on that one!" Two-Bit pointed in the distance, and you followed his hand to see that he was pointing at the tall ride which brought you all the way to the top, then dropped you at immense speed. You loved speed, so that kind of cancelled out your fear of heights. "Fine, let's do it." You said, convincing yourself that you would be okay and that you'd get off this ride alive. It turned out to be that Two-Bit was the one who needed the convincing, not you.

Ponyboy:
"Alright, so we got all of the rides out of the way. What else do we do? Do you want to walk around o- babe, you there?" Ponyboy trailed off, waving his hand in front of your face. You ignored him though, because you were staring at the biggest ride at the carnival; the Ferris Wheel. "We didn't go on that one, Pony!" You gasped, turning to your boyfriend. "Oh my, you're right! Let's go on before this place closes." Ponyboy smiled at you, gently holding your hand as you speed-walked over to the wheel. "Two, please!" You told the guy who ran the ride, and you both took a seat. "I really do hope we make it up top, the view must be so pretty." You sighed as you snuggled into Ponyboy's side, his arm around you. Night was coming close, and the Sun seemed to be creeping away. You instantly thought of that poem that meant so much to your boyfriend. The ride came to a stop, and you noticed that you reached the top of the wheel. "Ponyboy, look at this view." You gasped. "Wow, this is the first time I've ever seen a sunset like this." Ponyboy breathed out. It amazed you how Ponyboy could get amazed so easily. Whether it be a sunset, or you, you knew he had a great love for so many things, and that's what made you fall in love with him right then and there.
