bigtimerushphillies1dgirl678-de asked: I can't wait for your new blog and I'm excite that your still writing outsider stories!!!

Thank you so much! I’m honestly so excited to start this new blog. I could never abandon my Dallas fic! I think it’ll be great when I figure things out on my own time!

Anonymous asked: Idk if your taking requests right now but an idea for a preference is where they find you best up by socs! If you can't do it it's ok! I understand! 😚

I don’t know if I already made this one, but I’m not taking any requests. Sorry!

themrsdeanwinchester asked: Are you going to be posting the link to your new blog here? I hope so! Sorry to hear you won't be doing the imagines anymore though, I loved them! The Outsiders fandom can be rough, I honestly stay out of it even though I LOVE the book because I hear so many bad things.

I’ll post the link once I figure out what I want to do! I just have to move my stories onto one blog, and hopefully get a start on the 1st chapter of my new story. :) And yeah, the fandom can be rough, but I don’t really mind it as much anymore.

Long time, no see!

Hi everybody! It’s been a long time, huh? Summer’s coming to an end, and I hope you all had a lovely one!

I want to thank you all for being patient with my hiatus put on this blog. Truth is, I won’t be posting on here anymore. I didn’t necessarily lose interest in the book and movie, but I lost interest in a fandom that wasn’t necessarily kind or welcoming to each other.

But don’t fret! This will NOT be the last of my posts! I will be creating a new blog where I will be posting all of my fan-fictions, and I’ll be able to update without being rushed. But, it will be for stories only. No imagines, no preferences, just stories.

(P.S. I’m writing a Harry Potter fan-fiction with a few OCs, message me if you’d read it! I’ll post the link of the new blog once I make it.)

I love you all so much; this blog has had a amazing run with loads of support, but like all moments in time, it has to come to a close. I’m never going to forget how welcoming and loving you were in the beginning. Jeez, I can feel myself about to cry as I write this.

As I was saying, thank you for everything. I hope to never lose contact with some of you! So many of you have sent me fan-mail saying how you’d read my work if I became an author! That is what’s motivating me to have a fresh start, so you can see the work I’m capable of creating!

Goodbyes can be bitter, but this is a sweet “see you later”, for sure.

And this has been Sophie of imagine-stayinggold signing off! See you later!

Anonymous asked: Hi can you make a loooong imagine When you're just like dally but a girl but really fun and sweet and everyone thinks you should date dally but your dating Johnny and Johnny and you are in love and dally is really jealous because he thinks that you are perfect for him Hehe please sorry it's so long

Sorry, hun. This blog is on a very short hiatus, and I haven’t been accepting requests since my ask is FULL of them. :( Sorry again.

xo - Sophie

I’m putting this blog on a very, very, very short hiatus.

Reason being that I’m doing a lot of volunteer work this summer and I won’t be able to post as often. But, I am not abandoning this blog! It’s just until I have some more time to do what I want to with my writing and stuff.

I WANT TO THANK EVERY ONE OF MY 754 FOLLOWERS, BECAUSE I LOVE YOU AND YOU ALL HAVE STUCK WITH ME. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

Anonymous asked: Omfg I love you. Just stop being so damn awesome.

Have I ever told you how much I love you, too? Well, I do.

Stay awesome.

Anonymous asked: Hey I'm not sure if you're actually taking requests anymore- but I hope so because you're an amazing writer. Can I have a Dally imagine? I don't care what it's about but- I just love Dally :)

Awh, thank you so much! Well, my ask box is closed for requests, but I already have a request for a Dally imagine (this one is a personal one so it isn’t going to have the “Y/N” insert!), but I guess I might be able to write you one… I’ll keep you posted!

Preference #24: You're insecure (Part 2).

  • A/N: *Possible trigger warning, I'm not too sure. Putting a warning just in case! xo - Sophie*
  • Ponyboy: Remember how Ponyboy wasn't too keen on greaser girls? Well, that changed when he met you. You two had a great relationship going, but your feelings about it soon took a turn for the worse when you heard all sorts of "jokes" from the gang. You knew they meant well, or at least they thought they did. You weren't one to change for anybody, but you took it into consideration when you looked at yourself in the mirror one day, looking specifically at your outfit. A tank top, jeans, Chuck Taylor shoes, and a nice leather jacket. Bright red lipstick and dark eyeliner, too. Pony didn't really care about the fact that you were a greaser girl; he knew that deep down, you were anything but a greaser girl. Pony didn't do anything about the gang poking fun at you, though. He felt that the gang would act like that no matter what, to your dismay.
  • Johnny: You had the same problem as Johnny. People thought that you were younger than you actually were. You had those eyes that looked like they belonged to a lost puppy, just like Johnny. Maybe it was your height, or maybe it was how soft-spoken you were. Whenever you wanted to be a part of a rumble, the gang would instantly deny it. It was as if they kept forgetting how old you were! No matter how many times this happened, or how much you wanted Johnny to say something, he would just look at you sadly and shrug because he didn't know just what to do. You learned something though; if Johnny could deal with it, then so could you.
  • Darry: One day, you were carrying a few boxes into your house from your truck. Aside from hanging out at the Curtis house, the gang liked to be at yours. "Hey Y/N, don't you think you're a lil' too weak to carry that?" Dally laughed, thinking he was funny. "Let Superman help you out!" You just rolled your eyes, but you knew that he was right. You went back outside and quickly looked down at your body. You weren't muscular, or at least strong. Your legs were really skinny, and you didn't have broad shoulders. You sadly hated your body, but you felt somewhat better when you walked back into the house to hear Darry yelling at Dally, setting him straight. "Y'know, Dal, you should help me out if you're oh-so-strong." You smirked at him, and he rolled his eyes at you because he knew that you were right this time, causing Darry to laugh and give you a big high-five.
  • Steve: "Babe, just try to do a flip!" "No, I'm not going to, Steve!" You sighed at your boyfriend, he was being so stubborn right now. He kept on showing you how he did his famous flips and he wanted to see you try it. You would instantly deny. Why? You remembered what happened when you flipped once; you were in elementary school, and it was during recess. You decided to copy your friends and flip like they did, resulting in a bad injury and total humiliation. You knew it for yourself, you weren't athletic. Steve helped you, even without knowing the reason why you were so insecure. But, time passed and you were finally able to flip like your boyfriend without anything going wrong.

Preference #24: You're insecure (Part 1).

  • A/N, please read!: *I'm not too sure if this would be triggering to some, because I'm not necessarily writing about the moment you self-harm. But, just in case, there will be a trigger warning for this preference. And anyway, I'm not too proud of this one, but at least I'm finishing it! xo - Sophie*
  • Dally: You looked at yourself in the mirror and sighed. You weren't the greaser girl that everybody thought Dally would end up with sooner or later just for a one-time fling. But that's what bothered you; you didn't know if Dallas was just using you for his gain, or if he even considered being serious with you. And anyway, nobody ever saw you as the kind of girl to date him. As time passed, you became more and more visibly insecure. Dally finally noticed and he'd surprisingly try his best to cheer you up and make sure that you were okay. He wasn't the best at cheering people up, but whatever he would say would be good enough because you knew that he wasn't a boy who'd easily show his feelings.
  • Two-Bit: "Hey, Two! Lookin' for a blonde?" You heard once, when you exited The Dingo's bathroom and saw another greaser obnoxiously talking to your boyfriend. "Oh, Two, if you ever want a girl who can really take a joke, call me." A stuck-up Soc girl purred to your boyfriend right after you told her off for insulting you. The constant comments of how you weren't good enough really hurt you. And that one time where Two-Bit got Marcia's number really bothered you. You were one to easily let people walk over you and manipulate you, sadly. Your self-esteem was always lowered once it shot up. Two-Bit would always tell you that you were perfect for him though, that there was a reason why you were his girl.
  • Sodapop: Honestly, dating Sodapop Curtis isn't a walk in the park. Every minute of his shift at the DX would be full of pretty girls and flirting. With your busy schedule and loads of homework, you couldn't go to the DX and at least make known that you were his girl. He noticed soon enough that you were feeling a little put down by all the girls flocking to him, so he'd sometimes go and pick you up from school to show that you were with him. Almost all the girls that would flirt with him went to your school, so they soon backed off once they saw that he was yours and off limits.
