No problem! Writing it now. :) I’m probably going to split this into two posts, and not one. That way, I can easily post a preference tonight.
xo - Sophie
The night was finally here; this was the night that you were going on your first date with Dallas Winston. You were both excited and nervous; you were nervous because all of your friends had told you repeatedly that he was a player, but you were excited because you never thought that you would go out with a guy like him.
That’s so sweet of you! Thanks, darling! <3
I’m writing this imagine up right now, I hope you like it!
xo - Sophie
Maybe, maybe not. ;)
My age doesn’t really matter, anyway; I’ll tell everybody my age when I feel confident enough to reveal it, so don’t worry about it for now.
xo - Sophie
Same age as one of the lovely greasers! :)
xo - Sophie
Thank you darling, you’re so sweet! <3
I totally love your icon, by the way.

I’m sorry that I haven’t been posting yesterday or earlier today; I was hanging out with my best friend, so I was really busy and having fun. :)
But, my day was kind of ruined because I was scrolling through Instagram to see a fanpage who posted my GIF imagine about the gang going after the Socs.
This fanpage not only posted it without giving me credit, but she erased the watermark I had on it. I was then called “rude” for asking her repeatedly to delete this photo, and then she deleted my comments instead.
That wasn’t the only time she’s done that, because she’s posted my other imagines without giving credit.
I have decided to not post her username on here, since she actually deleted my imagines from her page, being noticeably hesitant about it.
How would you feel if I stole your work? You wouldn’t feel too happy, right?
*If you see anybody post my (or even someone else’s) imagines, please report them (it’ll be your choice to unfollow and block them, I won’t ask you to do that much). Or just ask them to give the rightful credit to the rightful owners. This can help out a lot of the fandom’s writers.*
xo - Sophie
P.S.: I’m sorry if I sound rude, I would never want to come across like that!
I find that to be absolutely amazing! It must have been so much fun living there, whether it be a poor or rich part of town.
Is Tulsa a big place, or is it fairly small?
xo - Sophie
I knew I’d get a message like this sooner or later, haha! I use GIFs from the original version of The Outsiders, the 2005 remastered version of the movie which has extra footage along with bonus features, and I also use GIFs from other movies that the actors have been in.
xo - Sophie
I’ll still be posting, though! But as of now, my ask box will only be open for:
I hope you all understand! Thank you all for being so supportive. :)
I love you all! Stay gold!

“Finally, home at last.” You breathed out as you maneuvered your car into the driveway. Your parents were on a very important business trip, so you’ve been home alone for the past week. You were always okay with the fact that your parents were very successful, but you just wished that they were given the same trip at a different time. You were turning 18, and you just felt a little lonely. Although, there were a few people who you knew would definitely be there.
Done! :)
xo - Sophie
I’m going to work on some preferences now, just letting you all know. :)

“Really, God, really? Do I really deserve this?! Get this guy off my yard!” I screamed at the sky. God was going to have to hear me someday.
Dally just shook his head. “You’re weird.” He chuckled, a puff of smoke leaving his lips. Okay, I’ll admit it; he looked really cool doing that.
“Sorry if that bothers you.” I rolled my eyes, but I just continued talking. “So, what’re you doin’ here? I think you should get off our property before you regret it.” I snarled.
He just raised his hands to his heart in mock hurt. “Oh, that killed me. Save me, please! I ca- wait, w-wait a second, did you say your property?” He looked at me incredulously, as if he was a pirate who just found treasure. That’s when I felt my face get red.
“Yeah, why?” Ryan asked, moving closer to me, just in case anything happened. Ryan knew I had extremely mixed feelings for this guy already, so I was most likely going to either skin him or kiss him. I was kind of okay with doing both.
“Ponyboy and his brothers live in that house.” He said, pointing across the street. “So, if you don’t know, but I’m part of their gang. That means that I can stop by every day to see you, honey.” He smirked, stepping closer to me.
I just got wide-eyed, and then I looked past him to see Pony, Johnny, and their friends waving from the porch. Then, they went inside leaving Dally and my gang alone. It was weird how they trusted us already and had no regard for danger; well, everyone except Dally.
“Spike! Look at that; aren’t you lucky! You get to see your new best friend all the time!” Jack laughed, cooing and mocking me with a baby’s voice. “No, no, and no. You’re kiddin’. That would mean that I’d have to see him all the time.” I seethed, glaring at Jack and trying to comprehend everything. Jack was really bothering me with his jokes, and Dally felt the need to get me riled up.
I clenched my fists and turned but to Dally. In reality, I had no problem with seeing him every day. I just had a problem with his attitude, his manners, and the fact that there’s a large possibility of me falling in love with him.
“I think I’m goin’ to be sick. Guys, let’s go inside.” I motioned to my gang, getting a hold of my luggage. “You’re not gettin’ sick, doll. You’re just fallin’ in love with me.” He yelled, throwing his cigarette bud on the sidewalk. I just scoffed and rolled my eyes.
“I’m serious, baby. You know what? I’ll make you a deal. It’ll be easy enough.” Dally smirked, coming closer to me. He finally got right in front of me, and put his hands on my hips. I felt my face get hot, but I didn’t care. I wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction. If he wants me, he’ll have to come after me. I don’t do the chasing.
“I guess we’ll be goin’, then. Spike, don’t kill anybody.” Rena trailed off, grabbing her bags.
“Have fun!” Jack grinned, causing Ryan and Jewel to try and hold in their laughter. I rolled my eyes and nearly punched them; yes, these people are my family, and I can do nothing about it.
“Okay, so what’s this ‘deal’? Make it quick, I have somewhere to be.” I scolded, slapping Dally’s hands off of my hips. I couldn’t deny that I liked it, though.
He got even closer to me, if that was possible, and he looked down at me. I had to crane my neck to look up at him. I was around the height of where his shoulders were, and I wasn’t even wearing heels. I bet he would still be taller than me, anyway. He seemed to be the same height as Jack and Ryan, and trust me, they’re really tall.
My weird thoughts aside, I noticed something too familiar for my liking in his eyes, but was instantly washed away with the look of cockiness and hatred for life. I noticed how easily he could hide his feelings, and that made me pity him more than anybody else. He shook his head and continued to break the silence.
“I think I can get you to fall in love with me.” He whispered, and I nearly choked. Too late for that one, I thought.
“Christ, you’re totally blitzed. I’m glad we had this talk. Go home.” I stared up at him, keeping my ground. I turned to walk away, but a hand got a hold of my arm. “Get off me. I’m not in the mood for games, boy.” I hissed.
“Let’s get a few things settled, now that I’ll be seeing you every day. First off, nobody talks to me like that, you dig? Earlier today, I just saved you a black eye and a few broken bones. Probably even your dignity.“ He snarled.
"First off,” I copied him. “I didn’t ask you to help me out. You could’ve gotten Johnny or Ponyboy, but no. You helped me. You stood up for me when I didn’t need you to. So, I think you’re actually falling in love with me! Or at least having a crush.” I laughed.
“Second off, I never play games.” It was as if he disregarded everything I just said. I shook my head at his immaturity.
“And what happens if I get you to fall in love with me first? You don’t even know my age, or anythin’ else about me.” I challenged, ignoring his statements.
“Whoever wins just gets the satisfaction, blood for blood. I can tell you like a challenge.” He winked, thinking that would faze me. I’ll admit it, his wink was hot, but I wasn’t going to show it. I got scared when he said ‘blood for blood’, though. I didn’t want him getting hurt trying to win me over.
“You’re not even considered a challenge; I’m the challenge. And if anything, you’d have to be worth my time if I’m goin’ to fall in love with you.” I shot back at him, feeling proud. Being a part of the gang and having some sort of leadership really increased my confidence, I guess.
“You’re a real sweetie, you hear?” Dally said with a hint of sarcasm, pointing at me. That’s when we realized that we were being eavesdropped on. “Since when?!” I heard my whole gang yell in shock from inside the house. “Shut it, you idiots!” I yelled back, only to receive obnoxious laughter.
“See you tomorrow mornin’, sweets.” Dally laughed, walking away and not bothering to close the gate behind him. “If you want me to fall in love with you, then show some respect!” I yelled, as he went right back to Ponyboy’s house and waved from there.
“Why me?!” I mumbled to myself, along with some incoherent curse words as I got my luggage and made my way to my new home.
Thank you so much! <3 And you lived in Tulsa? That’s awesome! I would love to live there.

Now, things are going to get a little bit more interesting.
What did you all think of the last chapter? I really want to know your opinions before I post the next chapter.
xo - Sophie
I hope all my readers like it! Feedback and suggestions would be great. :)

Sunlight was starting to fade, so that meant that the gang and I had to get a move on to go back to our stolen, abandoned car. Let me explain to you how we even got to Tulsa: we drove here in one of Jack’s cars, but then we abandoned it at Windrixville. Of course we got all of our luggage, which wasn’t much, but we were planning on going back and getting the car. Then, we couldn’t keep walking so we stopped at some car dealership a few miles out of Tulsa. The rest is history.
Back to what I was saying though, I may have been all giggling and blushing when I turned from Dally, but I soon ended up being in a total rage as my mind recapped what happened. “Y'know, I can’t believe the nerve of that Dally kid! I swear, if I didn’t know any better I wou-”
“Kiss him senseless, right?” Jack smirked, playing around with his switchblade.
“Pounce? Or run away with him?” Ryan suggested, getting a good five feet away from me in case I try to beat him up, which I was pretty keen on doing right about now.
“Keep talkin’, I won’t hesitate to go ape on you.” I hissed, turning to look at them. I knew I was blushing though, because I looked down at the ground.
“Don’t try and hide it. Sophia,” Jewel said, placing her hand on my shoulder. I inwardly cringed; even though I wasn’t that used to hearing my real name, only the gang was allowed to call me by my first name. Only privately, of course. If they ever called me that in front of Ponyboy and his friends, I’d kill them.
“You like that guy. I know you do, doll! I don’t think I’ve ever seen you look at a guy like that.” Rena continued, smiling at me. It was a genuine smile, something I haven’t seen ever since we left Miami. That made me really happy, because she seemed so stressed out about taking care of me since I’m still underage.
We just continued walking aimlessly, and then I just had to vent a little more. “He’s just rude, like, why bother with that ditz, anyway? We’re already stuck with two other ones, anyway.” I motioned over to Jack and Ryan. I rolled my eyes when they didn’t respond; they could honestly be so oblivious to my insults.
Rena looped her arm with mine and Jewel put her arm around my shoulder. “We’ll save this conversation for later. I haven’t been able to talk to you girls in a while about boys ever since we got these two morons in the bunch.” Jewel told Rena and I while laughing, looking at the guys.
“Squeal about boys all you want, just don’t let us be ‘round to hear it, alrigh’?” Ryan asked, and Jack raised his hands up in agreement.
“Sure, sure. We promise, you pansies. Rena, you said that you got the address of the place we’d be stayin’ at?” I asked my sister, trying to get the attention off of me for once. I didn’t really like talking about my love life with them, especially if it’s about a guy you never even had a history with.
“Uh, the address is 734 St. Louis Street. We just need to make a left on this block here and keep walkin’ until we get to a white house at the corner of the neighborhood. At least that’s what it says here on the paper that mom and dad gave us.” Rena said, passing the slip to me.
“That’s just a few blocks away, so keep walkin’ or else I’m lockin’ you out.” I ordered the gang; it was weird, because even though Rena is the oldest in the gang, and Jack is the oldest male figure, I kind of call the shots. I mean, I’m not complaining or anything, but it was just a little odd.
We finally made it farther into the East side of town. I don’t get why those rich kids would think this neighborhood is bad, it’s actually pretty homey aside from the crime rate, I guess. Well, it’s much better than materialistic things taking over in your life.
We finally made it to our block, and I saw the white house on the corner. Right when I saw it, I don’t think I’ve ever run so fast to get somewhere. I literally ignored all my surroundings, and ran until my lungs could give out. The house was huge and beautiful compared to the others here! The porch had two rocking chairs on it, and there was a hammock. That wasn’t even the only thing that could swing; there was a huge tree in the front of the house, and there was a tire swing hanging down. Ryan and I love tire swings! I swear, now I’m going to have to beat him up for it. Just my luck, right?
The front yard was a large one, and it had a medium-sized gate surrounding it. The grass seemed to be freshly mowed, and the hedges were cut evenly; it was pretty much a dream home, and I was just itching to go inside. The old lanterns lighting up the front of the house made it seem even more beautiful than it actually was, if that’s possible.
“Oh my, it’s lovely.” Rena gasped. “That’s our house?!” Jewel almost fainted. “I don’t think I’ve ever loved the way a house looks in all of my life.” Ryan whispered. “It’s the nicest one in the whole East side! Your parents think that we’ll be able to afford keepin’ this house taken care of by the time we settle?!” Jack hissed, making sure that nobody could hear him.
“Thank God our families are wealthy, and thank God once again that we don’t let the money get to our heads.” I shook my head, receiving murmurs of agreement from everybody else.
We all looked around some more, but I noticed that the gang froze one-by-one when they looked behind me. “Hey, Sophia! If you want to stay sane and not deal with anyone that can choose-off, then I think that you shouldn’t look at the house in front of ours.” Jack laughed; him and Ryan were holding onto each other for support.
“What in God’s name are you lot talkin’ ‘bout?!” I hissed. I had a beautiful house right in front of me, why would I want to look away? I swear, sometimes my gang can be so idiotic. “Uh, he’s right, Sophia. Let’s go inside, alright?” Rena tried coaxing me inside, but I wouldn’t allow it. I was going to stand my ground no matter what.
“He’s gettin’ closer! What do we do?!” Jewel freaked out and told Ryan, thinking I wouldn’t hear her. “Spike, let’s just go in.” Ryan said, finally getting out of his laughing fit and grabbing my arm. That’s when I was caught off guard, he never switched from calling me ‘Sophia’ to ‘Spike’ like that. Especially how he said it was weird; it was just so urgent.
“If somebody doesn’t tell me what’s goin’ on, I’m goin’ to scream!” I raised my voice at them. I was literally about to hit each and every one of them, but another voice stopped me.
“Babe, you should save the screamin’ for later.” I heard the most familiar, and life-ruining voice tell me. It was accompanied by steps and I could basically hear the smirk and wink in that voice. I slowly turned around, now knowing who was causing this whole mess. So, you’re probably on the edge of your seat, wondering ‘Oh my gosh! This is so suspenseful, who was it?’. Well, I’ll tell you, but it’s pretty obvious.
It was Dally, a cancer stick in his mouth and a smug look on his face. I can never get a break, can I?
I just thought I’d share it with anybody who’s interested in having a resource for any facts they use in their writing. :)
Here’s the site: http://www.fast-rewind.com/locations_outsiders.htm
I’m using this one to write the third chapter of my Dallas story, so I hope you all like it. If you have any other websites like this, please let me know!

Hello, lovely followers! Okay, so I just finished working on a very special Ponyboy birthday imagine for all-brawn-no-brain, and then I’m going to start working on chapter three of my Dallas Winston story.
The special imagine will be posted on April 5th; I think it’s a really cute one. <3

xo - Sophie
Dally: Earlier that day, you fought with Dally; your best friend. You were mad because he was treating you like you weren’t important to him. He’s been spending a lot more time with Sylvia lately, to your dismay. So, you went to one of Buck’s parties to get your mind off of things. You knew Dally would be there, but you didn’t really care. You wanted to meet someone who truly wanted to spend time with you. Everything changed when this cute guy started to talk to you, and you were getting interested more and more with every word he said, but then, Dally interrupted and took care of business by apologizing like never before.
Johnny: "Johnny! Lord, what happened?!“ You gasped, putting the newspaper down as he barged in. He had cuts on his face, and bruises were forming on his arms and neck. "Got jumped.” He gritted his teeth, you could tell that he was trying not to cry. “Oh, darling, let’s get you all cleaned up.” You kissed his cheek, leading him to the kitchen, the only good source of light in your house. You were close with the gang; you were like a motherly figure to them, even Darry. After a rumble, the gang would go to your house because they knew that you would take care of them in a heartbeat. You cleaned the cuts on Johnny’s face, and he couldn’t help but stare at you like you were some sort of angel. “Y/N? W-will you go out with me?” He blurted out. You were caught off guard, but extremely happy. So, you kissed him. “Well, I really hope that answers your question, Johnnycake.” You smiled.
Two-Bit: "Awh, come on, Two-Bit!“ You whined as he walked away from your porch. "I have to get back home or I’m dead!” He laughed as he heard you run after him. “Fine, I’ll just tell the gang about the first time that Keith Mathews doesn’t want to watch Mickey Mouse and eat chocolate cake at his favorite girl’s house!” You smirked as he stopped in his tracks. “You wouldn’t! That can ruin my whole reputation!” He yelled, wide-eyed. “What reputation?!” You giggled as you ran inside the house, not long until you felt a pair of arms turn you around only to be met by Two-Bit’s lips on yours.
Sodapop: "Well, hello there, miss Y/N.“ Sodapop smiled at you as you walked in through the front door of the Curtis house. "Hi! How come the rest of the gang isn’t here?” You wondered out loud as you looked around the house. You could tell Two-Bit was here though, because you saw an empty beer bottle on the floor and chocolate cake crumbs all over. “There is some left over cake, if you’re wonderin’. I didn’t let Two-Bit eat it all up!” Soda smiled at you, grabbing your hand and leading you over to the kitchen. You both were walking, but somehow ended up on the floor. You both fell because of the beer bottle that Two-Bit oh-so-graciously left behind. You were on your back on the floor, and Soda landed on top of you. His arms were what kept him leveled, and he looked down at you with wide eyes. You probably looked like a deer caught in headlights yourself. You both didn’t say anything though, you just leaned in and let fate do what it does best.
Darry: "Seriously, Y/N?! You know I got a lot on my plate, can’t you just give me a break for once?“ Darry sighed, running a hand over his face in order to calm down. "That’s the thing, Darry! You get too many breaks when it comes to me! That’s the same excuse you always use. ‘You know I got a lot on my plate,’? No, not really! You know you have me to help out. You know I would help out your brothers in a heartbeat. You know I would help you out with your jobs. Why won’t you let me help you for once? I’m not here for nothin’, you know!” You cried, but Darry didn’t say anything, he just picked you up and kissed you.
Steve: You visited him at the DX, you knew he was working late and this would be the only chance you would get to see him that day. “Hey, babe!” He smiled at you as you walked through the door. “Hey, Stevie!” You smiled back at him. You were the only one who was allowed to call him Stevie, he would get really annoyed if anybody else called him that. “So, which car are you working on?” You asked him, looking around the shop. “Well, this car has a flat tire, and that other car looks like the doors are about to fall off any second.” He smirked, pointing out the car with the bad doors. But, you didn’t see any other car. “Stevie, what ca-” You were cut off by Steve’s lips against yours. You felt Steve smile throughout the kiss, soon leading you to do the same, but you didn’t complain at all.
Ponyboy: "I had a lot of fun tonight! Thanks for taking me to the movies, Ponyboy.“ You smiled up at him. He smiled back down at you, and just modestly shrugged. "It’s alright, Y/N. I had a lot of fun, too. I’m glad you had fun tonight.” He put his arm around your shoulders, but he did it hesitantly. You mentally scolded him. You both went on many dates before, so you didn’t understand why he was being so nervous all the time. You were okay with it if he wanted to take things slow, but he should at least tell you that. The only thing was that he didn’t want to take things too slow. You both wanted that, so you had the nerve to take care of it.
Thank you so much! Johnny feels are always the worst, it’s like loving a little lost puppy for an infinite amount of time. Not that I’m complaining, or anything.
xo - Sophie
Writing it now! And thank you so much! :) <3
xo - Sophie
*EDIT: I thought you said “first date”, not “first kiss”. My bad! But I’ll write both.*
Thank you! :)
xo - Sophie
I’m trying really hard! Please be patient, I’ll post a GIF imagine just so I can update the blog. :)
xo - Sophie
I’m planning on updating it sometime next week! Right now, I’m working on the second part of the carnival preference, and then I’ll start writing the next chapter.
Thank you, though! I’m so glad you like it. I’m honestly really excited to write the next chapter! <3
xo - Sophie
Thank you so much! You’re so kind! <3
xo - Sophie
No problem! I’ll make sure that this one is absolutely amazing, and if you didn’t like it much, I promise to write you another one.
xo - Sophie
Awh, thank you doll! I appreciate all the love.
Happy early birthday, by the way! I hope all your wishes come true. And of course I’ll write you one! Think of it as a birthday present from me. :) I know that you want it very fluffy and cute, but is there anything specific you want in the imagine?
xo - Sophie
I was spending some time with my dad, so I haven’t had the chance to write much. I hope to post tomorrow.
I really hope you all understand!
xo - Sophie
I love you too! Thank you so much, I’m glad you like my imagines!
xo - Sophie
Awh, I’m so glad you like them! Thanks! :)
xo - Sophie
Okay, so I’ve noticed that my imagines with the GIFs have reached Instagram. People post them, and their followers love them. I think that’s amazing how people are sharing them!
The only thing is that people aren’t giving me credit when they post them. It doesn’t really bother me when people post them, but it just bothers me when people think that the one who posted it on Instagram is the one who made them.
I was just hoping that if you ever post my imagines to Instagram, please tag “#imaginestayinggold” in the comments. You should also tag it if you ever see someone else post my imagines!
If I see people post them pretending that they made it, they will be reported and blocked.
I follow a lot of fan accounts on Instagram, so you won’t be able to steal my work without me finding out.
I’m honestly really honored that people like my posts that much; it’s too awesome!
Thank you if you read this! Please reblog this and spread the word!
xo - Sophie
I don’t necessarily have a favorite! But I fell deeply (and I mean deeply) in love with three while reading the book; Two-Bit, Dally, and Sodapop. In that order! <3
But when it comes to writing, I like either Sodapop or Two-Bit the best, just because they’re so complex in the sense of emotions and personality. I mean, Sodapop is known for being a happy person, yet he can feel so many different emotions and it wouldn’t be out of character for him. The same goes for Two-Bit.
Then again, it depends on what event you’re trying to write about.
xo - Sophie
Somewhere in the hundreds (and by that, I mean 100-900). ;)
Haha, I don’t really find follower count important. As long as I have supportive followers like you all, it doesn’t really matter if I have five or five hundred.
And thank you! <3
xo - Sophie
I’m hoping to get some preferences out of the way, and then maybe work on another long imagine or the next chapter of my Dallas Winston story!
xo - Sophie
Haha, thank you! Everybody seems to love them, so why stop making them? Since they don’t take too long to make, it’s a great alternative from writing a preference or one-shot.
xo - Sophie
I posted that really long one of them fighting over you just a few hours ago. :)
xo - Sophie
Awh, thanks a lot! I’m really proud of how that imagine turned out. <3
